The mission of the Annual Conference is to provide cutting-edge information and tools to juvenile and family courts to support their efforts to improve case processing and outcomes for children, youth, families, victims, and communities with whom they work.

This conference is judicially-focused and open to all those interested in the improvement of juvenile and family justice.

HOTEL INFORMATION

The Seattle Westin Hotel is now sold out. Please contact A Room With A View for information on the designated NCJFCJ overflow hotel. They will secure the lowest available rates within walking distance of The Westin Hotel. In the event that rooms become available at The Westin Hotel due to cancellations, A Room With A View will notify conference attendees and help transfer reservations back to The Westin Hotel in the order in which they were booked. Please note: Registration fee includes all educational seminars, Exhibit Show, online training materials, Welcome Reception, one lunch, and all coffee breaks.

Cancellation Policy: The NCJFCJ will not deny admission to any program because of race, color, national or ethnic origin, sex, age, disability or religion. The NCJFCJ reserves the right to limit, cancel and/or refund registration on a case-by-case basis should circumstances require. Cancellations for conference registration must be made prior to June 14, 2013 for a full refund. Cancellations received after June 14 and before July 13 will incur a $100 administrative fee. No cancellations for refund will be accepted after the start of the conference.

Sunday - July 14 - NCJFCJ President's Welcome Reception
6:00 - 7:30 pm

Join NCJFCJ President, Judge Michael Nash, along with your colleagues and friends Sunday evening at the President’s Welcome Reception at the Westin Seattle Hotel. All conference participants are invited to attend with the price of the event included in the registration fee. Additional tickets to the reception may be purchased for $50 when you register online for the conference. Evening casual attire is suggested.

Meet the Market’s lively characters and hear their memorable stories. See fish fly, cheese being made, and the original Starbucks store. Monday - July 15 - Seattle Argosy Harbor Cruise
6:30 - 7:30 pm

Argosy Cruises has been a favorite attraction for millions of locals and visitors. Guests always enjoy this narrated 1-hour tour of Seattle’s vibrant and historic harbor. With never-ending skyline views and wide-open outdoor decks, this fascinating tour is a perfect way to start your evening. Tickets are $20 per person. Tuesday - July 16 - NCJFCJ Installation Dinner
6:00 - 9:00 pm

Join the NCJFCJ as it celebrates Judge David E. Stucki’s installment as President and the installment of newly elected Officers and Board of Trustee members for the 2013/2014 year. Ticket price is $85 per person and can be purchased online when you register for the conference. Dress is evening attire.

Expected Attendance: 
More than 600 attendees, including registered participants, faculty, committee members, etc., are expected at this conference. Judges who hear juvenile and family law cases are expected to make up approximately 70 percent of participants, with the remainder being attorneys, administrators, and court personnel. However, others working in the field of juvenile and family justice are also welcome to attend. More than 35 exhibitors representing a wide-range of services to the juvenile and family justice field are also expected to attend.

Fees: 
$750 - Exhibit Fee (includes participation for one exhibitor, one 6-foot draped table, two chairs and a wastebasket) 
$575 - Each additional exhibit person

Deadlines:
To be listed as an exhibitor in the Program Guide or to place an ad, the Exhibitor Application and any advertising artwork must be received by May 31, 2013.
