The mission of the Family Law Institute for Judges and Lawyers, hosted by the NCJFCJ in cooperation with the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and The National Judicial College, is to provide the most current information and tools to judges and lawyers in the fields of family law and domestic relations to improve case processing and outcomes for children, youth, families, victims, and communities with whom they work.

Cancellation Policy: The NCJFCJ will not deny admission to any program because of race, color, national or ethnic origin, sex, age, disability or religion. The NCJFCJ reserves the right to limit, cancel and/or refund registration on a case-by-case basis should circumstances require. Cancellations for conference registration must be made prior to February 2, 2014 for a full refund. Cancellations received after February 2 and before March 1 will incur a $100 administrative fee. No cancellations for refund will be accepted after the start of the conference.
The Hyatt Regency Monterey will serve as the conference hotel. Single and double accommodations are available at the per diem rate of $123 per night and are subject to state and local taxes. Early hotel reservations are strongly recommended as a limited number of rooms have been reserved at the reduced rate. Must book by 2/6/14 to receive the reduced rate.

More than 200 attendees, including registered participants, faculty, committee members, etc., are expected at this conference. Judges who hear juvenile and family law cases are expected to make up approximately 70% of participants, with the remainder being attorneys, administrators, and court personnel. However, others working in the field of juvenile and family justice as also welcome to attend. More than 30 exhibitors representing a wide-range of services to the juvenile and family justice field are also expected to attend.
