Our Goal is to Double Our Membership

November 6, 2018

Being a long time member of the NCJFCJ has enhanced my professional and personal life enormously. The NCJFCJ is a reliable resource for all of the issues I have dealt with as a judge. Moreover, many of my best friends have been colleagues I met while working with the NCJFCJ. I proudly engage new judges and attorneys to join, as membership will bring significant benefits throughout their professional career and lives.

The Honorable Len Edwards (Ret.), NCJFCJ president, 2002-2003

The National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges (NCJFCJ) is the oldest judicial membership organization in the country and is proud to continue and expand collaborative efforts with our partners and trusted allies in the work we do daily. Today, we have evolved to more than just a judge membership organization. The NCJFCJ now represents all court-related and justice system professionals; advocates; tribal judges; child welfare, mental health, and substance abuse practitioners; law enforcement; educators; court administrators and managers; attorneys; law schools; and national and local organizations.
There has never been a more critical time for an independent and educated judiciary.
The NCJFCJ’s commitment to its recently adopted strategic plan, which at its core, is to integrate NCJFCJ's pillars of research, training, and membership as one cohesive force. This will lead the organization into the next 80 years.
As a member, colleague, and supporter, your direct involvement, partnership, and commitment will ensure that this professional membership organization is everything you need in order to address the issues impacting the children, families, and victims you serve.
Join now
In order to accomplish this vision, we need your help to grow our most valuable resource – the NCJFCJ Membership.
Imagine the impact of a more diverse and larger membership to benefit children and families in our work:
  • A stronger NCJFCJ voice nationally influencing policy and practice reform;
  • Increased expertise in NCJFCJ committee work and efforts;
  • Larger, more diverse and comprehensive network of professionals for you to be a part of and use as a trusted resource;
  • Broader net of experts to serve as faculty for educational programs and community and public outreach opportunities;
  • Access to professional education resources; and
  • Exclusive discounts at national conferences and through American Express Travel.

The goal

The goal is to double the NCJFCJ membership by the 2019 National Conference on Juvenile Justice, March 17-20 in Las Vegas. If you haven’t already, don’t forget to register today for the conference.
Membership goal - 3,200 members
