December 5, 2016

Vision 21: Linking Systems of Care for Children and Youth Demonstration Initiative's Guiding Principles are designed to guide efforts to develop and better align all of the systems of care that respond to the needs of children, youth, families, and caregivers who have experienced victimization or been exposed to violence in the homes, schools, and communities. These Guiding Principles were created to improve community response to children and youth by providing guidance on three core principles:

  • Principle I – Healing Individuals, Families, and Communities
  • Principle II – Linked Systems of Care
  • Principle III – Informed Decision Making
