PSAs Educate Parents on Internet Dangers and Warn Potential Online Predators

One series alerts parents about the risk of online sexual exploitation and encourages them to supervise their children's use of the Internet, while the other targets potential online predators, warning them of the serious criminal penalties awaiting those who victimize children. Bulletin Provides Latest Juvenile Arrest Data
The 12-page OJJDP bulletin "Juvenile Arrests 2006" draws on data from the FBI's “Crime in the United States 2006” to analyze trends in juvenile arrests. In 2006, U.S. law enforcement agencies made an estimated 2.2 million arrests of persons under age 18. In 1994, 1 of 6 alleged murder offenders known to law enforcement was younger than 18.
