Welcome

The Center for Juvenile Justice Reform at Georgetown University's Public Policy Institute is designed to support public agency leaders in the juvenile justice and related systems of care. The Center and its web site seek to complement the good work being done across the country in juvenile justice reform by providing a multi-systems perspective and set of resources in support of this work.

• CJJR and the American Public Human Services Association, in partnership with Casey Family Programs, released their Policy Guide on addressing the needs of children and youth known to both the child welfare and juvenile justice systems on September 13, 2008.
• Center Director testifies at House Subcommittee hearing on Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs Oversight on September 18, 2008. Testimony focuses on juvenile justice issues and the need for stronger Federal leadership.
• Georgetown University and Casey Family Programs partner to help at-risk youth
