These five modules are meant to deliver training to juvenile courts, juvenile justice professionals and communities (similar to Volume I). Dispositional issues, secure care and transition, reentry from structured settings to communities and eventually to case closure issues are examined in this volume. (2005). It is intended to be used in conjunction with the Training Curriculum Guide Vol. II.  The information included in this publication will help prepare readers to explore secure confinement alternatives, and reentry issues.  (2005). It details the approach and offers guidelines and recommendations to the field of juvenile justice for jurisdictions considering replication of the Juvenile Sanctions Center’s process in establishing a continuum of care for juvenile offenders in a graduated sanctioning program through the establishment of 10 Demonstration Sites. It highlights the process of helping community-based teams develop a process to identify gaps in services, but moreover, how to close these gaps with proper training and technical assistance. Monograph II: Program Expansion and Capacity Building -- Focuses on the JSC’s program expansion from immediate and intermediate sanctions to the full range of sanctioning levels including secure care and after care/reentry, tracing the progress of the first ten Demonstration Sites, the implementation of their respective action plans and their development as providers of pro-bono cross site technical assistance. It also discusses three new Demonstration Sites and their capacity to provide training and technical assistance.
