This two-day workshop will offer Safe Havens: Supervised Visitation and Safe Exchange Grant Program (Supervised Visitation Program) communities the opportunity to engage in strategic thinking and group problem-solving around court and legal issues, and collaboration efforts among community partners intended to enhance safety, promote change, and examine solutions to crucial issues around supervised visitation and safe exchange in cases of domestic violence, child abuse, sexual assault, stalking, and dating violence. Who Should Attend? In order to maximize this training opportunity and the resulting benefits, communities must attend in teams of four participants representing the core partnership required by the Supervised Visitation Program. There must be one participant from each of the following disciplines: 1) Domestic violence or sexual assault advocate 2) Judge 3) Representative of local unit of government 4) Supervised visitation provider There is a registration fee of $400 per team to attend. Registration for each workshop is limited and preference will be given on a first come first serve basis.
