 Conference Brochure As national leaders in educating professionals in the field of juvenile justice, the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges and the National District Attorneys Association are proud to sponsor the 36th National Conference on Juvenile Justice. This conference offers juvenile justice professionals a national perspective on the issues they face in their day-to-day efforts to make a difference in the lives of children and families. The sessions at the conferences will highlight effective practice and programs, offer tips and tools, provide an opportunity for networking, and inspire and invigorate participants. With breakout sessions on a wide variety of topics, from truancy and safe schools, to gangs, to family violence, to child abuse and neglect, to juvenile sex offenders, to substance abuse, there is sure to be something for everyone! Exhibit Show and Resource Center: In addition to the Conference’s many sessions and opportunities for learning, the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges (NCJFCJ), and the National District Attorneys Association are pleased to showcase NCJFCJ’s research center, the National Center for Juvenile Justice. The NCJJ will have staff on site to offer hands-on learning to help improve your skills in searching the Web for juvenile justice research and related information, as well as provide information and a demonstration of custom software to provide cost-effective case tracking tools for juvenile courts. Continuous electronic presentations of the latest data and findings organized by topic areas in delinquency and dependency research will also be available. Plan to take advantage of this hands-on Web learning opportunity; participate in our Poster Session showcasing research, projects and programs from across the country; and visit the many exhibitors that provide resources to the juvenile justice field.
