NCJJ Issues Survey Results on Adam Walsh Act Print E-mail

6/24/09 -- NCJFCJ’s research division, the National Center for Juvenile Justice, conducted a survey in early 2009 to collect data on various impacts of the Adam Walsh Act (The Act), in response to a request from the U.S. House Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism, and Homeland Security. The survey of NCJFCJ members, participants at the March 2009 Juvenile Justice Conference, and other system professionals, focused on barriers that may be impacting the implementation of The Act (including cost impacts, legal impacts, and tribal impacts), as well as perceived benefits and problems with The Act.

The survey findings are included in a recently published Technical Brief, “The Adam Walsh Act: Implementation Impacts Survey,” which can be accessed by clicking here.
