NCJFCJ plans special Journal issue on domestic violence Print E-mail

ImageThe Juvenile and Family Court Journal is a peer-reviewed quarterly journal, published for more than 50 years by the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges. We are seeking articles on the subject of domestic violence and the impact it has on children and families in the court system. Some possible topics may include: ethical considerations for judges, custody decision-making, the overlap of domestic violence and child abuse/neglect or delinquency, custody and support provisions of Full Faith and Credit, innovative practices, or similar. Articles of interest to the membership, which includes juvenile and family court judges, court administrators, probation workers, and others in the field of juvenile and family justice, will be considered.

Please submit articles by e-mail to Katy Yetter or Jackie Ruffin.  
All submissions must be received by May 14, 2010 to be considered.
