NCJFCJ's research division, the National Center for Juvenile Justice, has just released the Juvenile Arrests 2008 bulletin. Published annually by OJJDP, the Juvenile Arrests bulletin series documents the extent and nature of juvenile crime that comes to the attention of the justice system. Drawing on the latest available data from the FBI’s annual Crime in the United States report, the bulletin summarizes juvenile crimes known to the police and arrests made during 2008.
