Haitian Adoptions Still in Limbo Print E-mail

8/12/10 -- On January 12, 2010, a devastating earthquake struck Haiti, resulting in massive loss of life and destruction of infrastructure. The country is still struggling to recover from this terrible event. One of the many dilemmas resulting from the quake is that the adoptions of more than 1,500 Haitian orphans, who were cleared for adoption by American families prior to the earthquake, are still in limbo.
