The National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges recognizes the impact which alcohol and other drugs have on the children and families who come before our nation’s justice system. The abuse of alcohol and other substances represents an underpinning problem in the majority of juvenile and family court cases. In response, the NCJFCJ has been very active in substance abuse training and technical assistance including juvenile drug courts, family drug courts, juvenile DWI, etc.
