Join us for a memorable evening! The National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges will hold a fundraising reception and silent auction on Thursday, Oct. 19, 2006, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., at Reno's world famous National Automobile Museum. One of the evening's highlights, in addition to strolling among vintage automobiles and bidding on silent auction items, will be awards presented by NCJFCJ to five leaders in Washoe County's juvenile justice system:
- Honorable Deborah Schumacher
- Honorable Victoria Van Meter
- Mr. Michael Capello, Director, Washoe County Social Services
Mr. Michael Pomi, Washoe County Juvenile Services Ms. Sabina Reiley, Foster Parent

Every day, judges and other court professionals face difficult issues including child abuse and neglect, delinquency, substance abuse, family violence, and custody and visitation. Since 1937, NCJFCJ has provided resources such as cutting-edge training, publications, technical assistance, and research to help these dedicated professionals make the best decisions possible in these most challenging of cases.
