NCJFCJ Honors Five Community Leaders Print E-mail
The NCJFCJ honored five outstanding community leaders dedicated to improving the lives of Washoe County, Nevada's children and families during a fundraising event held Oct. 19, 2006 at the National Automobile Museum in Reno. Approximately 130 juvenile and family justice professionals and community members attended the reception honoring: 
  • Honorable Deborah Schumacher
  • Honorable Victoria Van Meter
  • Mr. Michael Capello, Director, Washoe County Social Services
  • Mr. Michael Pomi, Washoe County Juvenile Services
  • Ms. Sabina Reiley, Foster Parent

NCJFCJ President Judge Dale Koch and Immediate Past President Judge Stephen Rubin presented the awards during the reception and silent auction. Proceeds from the event will benefit  NCJFCJ's ongoing efforts to improve outcomes for our nation’s court-involved children and families.
