Malaysia: Trafficking in Persons

The NCJFCJ staff met with delegates from Malaysia on Mar. 21 to explore the programs, initiatives, legislation, and efforts to combat trafficking in persons, the role of government agencies and private sector organizations to protect, assist, and provide social reintegration of victims of trafficking, and the strategies, most promising practices, and challenges in combating trafficking in persons through law enforcement and prosecution, victim/survivor services, and public outreach.
