On May 14 to 16, the NCJFCJ held a Project ONE All Sites meeting on the University of Nevada, Reno campus. The NCJFCJ invited each Project ONE site to send a team of key stakeholders to participate in activities, evaluation, and training related to the Project.

The NCJFCJ was honored to host several distinguished jurists for the meeting. Judge Joan Byer led the Jefferson County, Kentucky team; Judge Ernestine Gray led the Orleans Parish, Louisiana team; Judge Terrance Ketchel led the Okaloosa County, Florida team; Judge Marshall Murray led the Milwaukee County, Wisconsin team; Judge Lynn Tepper led the Pasco County, Florida team; and Judge Egan Walker led the Washoe County, Nevada team.

The teams received excellent training from national experts Jessica Heldman, JD, Associate Executive Director for Robert F. The All Sites meeting focused on peer-to-peer learning, practice changes to better serve families, hands-on problem solving, and action planning to address information needs. Participants had the opportunity to share ideas and learn more about innovative practices from other Project ONE sites such as case mapping, video conferencing for crossover youth hearings, Unified Family Court models, truancy initiatives, trauma-informed courts, court user surveys, and family involvement in Project ONE .

The 2014 Project ONE All Sites meeting provided renewed direction and innovative ideas so that stakeholders could continue the successful implementation of Project ONE within their jurisdiction.
