Date: January 28, 2016
Presenter: Jessica Pearce, Site Manager, NCJFCJ

New judge, new coordinator, new therapist… court professionals often transition on Juvenile Drug Court (JDC) teams. A change in the team dynamics can be challenging when an established collaborative process is in place. To maintain cohesion a JDC should have a set of practices in place to manage the transition of a new team member into the existing drug court team. Except taken from 7 (Easy) Steps to Creating a Transition Policy for Juvenile Drug Court Team Members, published in Juvenile and Family Justice TODAY, Winter 2013 will be introduced. This online workshop, based on the above mentioned article, focuses on practical solutions to creating and codifying a transition policy for JDC team members. This online webinar presentation will be interactive in nature, with real-world examples and resources.
