Judges across the nation are becoming more trauma-informed to better understand the impact of trauma in children and teens. In Philadelphia, Judge Lori Dumas has made it her purpose to educate others and create an effective program designed for juvenile victims of sex trafficking who have also been charged with crimes.

The WRAP program which stands for Working to Restore Adolescent’s Power, helped Judge Dumas win the first Innovator of the Year Award from the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges.
