There is no official estimate of the total number of human trafficking victims in the United States but experts say there are hundreds of thousands.

Although there’s a common misconception that most victims are brought in from poorer countries but Judge John Romero Jr., a member of the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges (NCJFCJ) says otherwise.
