This 60-minute webinar will cover important information on disparities, outcomes, and best practices related to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, and two-spirit (LGBTQ2S+) youth in juvenile justice settings. Presenters will discuss best practices for serving the population and provide guidance on equitable treatment in justice settings. Attendees will be able to describe the unique needs of LGBTQ2S+ youth in the juvenile justice system and identify the resources available to juvenile justice system professionals to treat LGBTQ2S+ youth effectively.
