Robert A. Simon

Robert A. Simon, Ph.D. is a forensic psychologist whose 40-year career has focused on divorce, families and family law disputes in families about children.  Having stepped back from providing services directly to families and the Court, Dr. Simon now focuses on consulting, teaching, expert witness testimony and public service.  He is especially happy to serve on the board of the NCJFCJ for the second time and looks forward to finding opportunities, though the Council, to serve the Family and Juvenile Courts, always searching for the best outcomes possible for each child.  He is a former member of the Board of Directors of Association of Family and Conciliation Courts and an active member of AFCC.  He is the co-author of the book “Forensic Psychology Consultation in Child Custody Litigation: A Handbook for Work Product Review, Case Preparation and Expert Testimony”.  Dr. Simon has also published numerous articles in scholarly journals.
