Judge John J. Romero Jr., presiding judge over 2nd District Children’s Court, and Tribal Appellate Judge Cheryl Fairbanks, of Albuquerque led a national panel on how their communities are combining western and traditional justice practices.

This project is a part of the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges (NCJFCJ) in conjunction with the Bureau of Indian Affairs and Casey Family Programs.
