Chief Juvenile Court Judge Tiana Bias talks about the impact of Augusta and Burke counties selected for the NCJFCJ’s Implementation Sites initiative, aimed at improving how courts handle child abuse and neglect cases.
This selection will bring specialized training, resources, and support to help judges and community partners move children into safe, permanent homes more quickly. The NCJFCJ chose the Augusta Judicial Circuit as one of a limited number of sites nationwide for its Implementation Sites Project, which focuses on improving safety and long-term outcomes for children in foster care.
