The COVID-19 pandemic has brought new challenges to the courts. In addition to the scrambling during these times, many couples have been forced maintain contact with their exes because of child custody and visitation orders from family court.

A woman in Sacramento, Calif., who was being sexually harassed by her ex-husband (with whom she shares custody of her twelve-year-old daughter) has had to maintain contact because her daughter has to spend every other week at her father’s home.
