The Eighth Judicial District (Clark County) of Nevada implemented a juvenile dependency mediation program in 2013. The goal of mediation in juvenile dependency cases is avoid further litigation by voluntary case resolution through the use of the neutral third party. NCJFCJ researchers conducted a process evaluation which included satisfaction surveys for parents and stakeholders. The assessment sough to examine common themes, level of satisfaction with current practice, and areas of improvement. This report contains the results of the process evaluation along with general recommendations for areas of improvement.
