This Fact Sheet presents statistics on delinquency cases processed in U.S. juvenile courts in 2005. Comparative statistics are given for public order offense cases, person offense cases, drug law violations, and property offenses. Additionally, the numbers are broken out by gender, race, age, use of detention, intake decisions, waiver to criminal court, and adjudication and disposition. The Fact Sheet includes figures, graphs, and a case flow chart. This Fact Sheet is based on the report Juvenile Court Statistics 2005.
