The National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges (NCJFCJ) hosted the National Judicial Institute on Domestic Child Sex Trafficking (NJIDCST) in Portland, Oregon from August 15-18, 2018 for judges and other judicial officers. The purpose of the NJIDCST is to provide judicial officers with tools needed to develop or enhance their ability to handle the multifaceted and challenging aspects of cases involving domestic child sex trafficking. Pre- and post-Institute surveys are administered to assess the immediate impact of the training on participant knowledge acquisition, decision making, practice and attitude change, and satisfaction. The report summarizes the responses of 20 Institute participants.
