Developed by the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges (NCJFCJ) in partnership with the State Justice Institute (SJI), Resources for Local Youth Experiencing Homelessness in the Justice System: A Comprehensive Guidebook of Community Resources in Northern Nevada connects youth, families, court professionals, and community partners with essential services throughout Northern Nevada. The guidebook brings together resources addressing housing and emergency shelter, health and legal services, transportation, education, employment, clothing, domestic violence and victim services, disability support, identity-focused services, and other critical needs. By consolidating these resources in one accessible guide, the publication helps justice system professionals and community partners connect youth experiencing or at risk of homelessness with appropriate local services and support.
