News / Press Release / The NCJFCJ and DRINK COFFEE DO STUFF Bring Holiday Cheer with Limited-Edition Coffee

This holiday season, the NCJFCJ, the oldest judicial membership and education nonprofit headquartered in Reno, is proud to partner with DRINK COFFEE DO STUFF (DCDS) to offer a limited-edition coffee that celebrates community, connection, and giving. The “Grounds for a Better Future” co-branded blend combines the artistry of DCDS roasting with the NCJFCJ’s mission to improve the lives of children and families who seek justice.

“This partnership with DCDS brings holiday warmth to our community in a meaningful way,” said Joey Orduña Hastings, CEO of the NCJFCJ. “‘Grounds for a Better Future’ is a symbol of hope and connection. It’s our way of celebrating the season while still honoring the children, families, and judicial system professionals we serve.”

For this special release, DCDS used its best-selling “Hell Yeah!” blend. This flagship roast delivers waves of Swiss chocolate and macadamia nut, wrapped in natural sweetness found in meticulously sourced, high-altitude coffees. Developed as the ultimate everyday brew, it shines in every brewing medium from pour-over to french press. The blend combines coffees from Guatemala and Ethiopia, offering a flavor profile ideal for this holiday collaboration.

“With DCDC’s expansion into Reno — opening a brick and mortar store this past April and a new roasting facility and shop this winter — it’s important to us to befriend and support our amazing neighbors throughout the city of Reno,” said Laura Visconti, co-founder and art director of DCDS. “We were delighted to produce a special, limited edition medium roast coffee for the NCJFCJ. Our high altitude roasting contributes to a supremely developed flavor and this coffee pairs beautifully on all brewing devices.”

The NCJFCJ is a pioneering organization dedicated to improving outcomes for children and families through leadership in the judiciary, communities, and society. Headquartered in Reno, the vital and important work of the NCJFCJ began in 1937 when a group of judges came together looking to improve the effectiveness of the nation’s juvenile courts. The NCJFCJ’s work spans the state and nationally. The organization and its research division, the National Center for Juvenile Justice, are recognized national leaders in education and policy development for judges, attorneys, social workers, probation officers, court administrators and other juvenile and family court professionals in the areas of juvenile justice, child welfare, domestic violence, and judicial wellness. The work of NCJFCJ impacts approximately 4 million families throughout Nevada and the nation.

The limited-edition coffee is available standalone or as part of a festive gift set featuring the NCJFCJ Yeti 16 oz. stackable cups with a donation. Perfect for sharing with loved ones or enjoying at home, it’s a thoughtful way to mark the season of giving.
