This overview of the Juvenile Drug Court (JDC) Training and Technical Assistance Project highlights areas of focus for the NCJFCJ 1) a collaborative approach to developing research-based training and technical assistance, through a Project Advisory Committee; 2) providing targeted training to introduce topics, to improve individual effectiveness, to change practices, and for the self-guided learner; 3) evaluation of JDC practice, through the JDC Learning Collaborative Project; and 4) providing specific information about evidence-based treatment, through the JDC Adolescent-Based Treatment Database. The overview of the Project also includes the NCJFCJ’s next steps to improve practice and to take the JDC Project to the next level of evidence-based operation.
