This is the second of three tools that make up the Juvenile Justice Model Data Project’s 3D Data Capacity Assessment. The assessment helps juvenile justice practitioners to strategically examine the data capacity of their juvenile justice system and reflect on their own use of data to inform decisions and drive improvements. This tool, Data Use and Dissemination, focuses on the extent to which agencies embrace policies and practices that promote both the sharing of information with staff, partnering agencies, and the public, and the application of information to decisions.
