This 2009 Update describes the current status of Models for Change-supported work in all four core states [Pennsylvania, Illinois, Louisiana, and Washington], with more detail and progress highlights presented for those states where the initiative has been at work the longest. The MacArthur Foundation’s Models for Change juvenile justice reform initiative was launched in Pennsylvania in 2004, added the other three core states, and now includes action networks in 14 other states, as well.
