This webinar discusses the links between animal abuse and child abuse and neglect. Expert faculty Dr. Maureen MacNamara and Judge Rosa Figarola (Ret.) consider the importance of increasing awareness among child welfare professionals of that link and the options that child welfare professionals have for responding to the co-occurrence of child abuse and animal abuse, including cross-reporting. The webinar is especially intended for judicial officers and child welfare professionals.
