Panelists Judge Katherine Tennyson (Ret.), Stephanie McDonald, and Amy Buchanan (Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada) address the types and nature of the general legal landscape of animal-related relief available in civil protection orders, including practices that courts and court system staff can use to assist un-represented victims of domestic violence and their advocates in their requests to plan for the safety of victims, their families, and their animals. The webinar is especially relevant to judicial officers, domestic violence advocates, GALs, and self-help center administrative staff.
