Judge Richard J. FitzGerald Memorial Scholarship

Thank you for your interest in the NCJFCJ’s Judge Richard J. FitzGerald Memorial Scholarship Program, established in 2018.

The Judge Richard J. FitzGerald Memorial Scholarship is available to any active judicial officer or court professional who is a member in good standing of the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges (NCJFCJ).

Completion of a scholarship application form and registration for a tuition-based NCJFCJ program or conference is a requirement of the application process. Preference shall be given to members who have not previously attended an NCJFCJ sponsored program or received a Judge Richard J. FitzGerald Memorial Scholarship.

Applications are currently being accepted for tuition scholarships to attend:

The 2024 National Conference on Juvenile Justice is scheduled for March 17-20, 2024, at the Hilton Cleveland Downtown in Cleveland, Ohio. Applications are due no later than Friday, January 5, 2024.
The 87th Annual Conference is scheduled for July 21 – 24, 2024, at the Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass in Phoenix, Arizona. Applications are due no later than Friday, May 3, 2024.
